A bank of patches for the System-1 and System-1 VST.
Roland System 1. The System 1 is a fully fledged synthesizer in its own right, but it can also assume the identity of Roland classics using its built–in ‘plug–out’ technology. Trailing slightly behind the forerunners of the Aira range, Roland’s eagerly anticipated System 1 is here at last. Its grand web site introduction refers back. We just got our hands on the Roland AIRA System-1 Plug-In VST and go through setting it up to work with a System-1 Synth and some of the ways it can be used. Here is my first impression of the Roland AIRA System-1 and setting it up in Ableton Live as a hardware device.Currently the SH-101 VST plugin does not load. The SYSTEM-1 can control—and even host—software recreations of classic Roland synthesizers. That’s right—the SYSTEM-1 gives you access to plug-in versions of legendary Roland synths, and they can be hosted in the SYSTEM-1 itself, with no computer required.
Some of these are shown below in the plug-in screenshots, as is the patch list from the VST. A zip file is linked below, which contains a bin file for the plug-in and a set of patch files for the System-1. The patches are the same for both formats.
