I have been attempting to install the SilverFast Ai demo for over a week and have exhausted all avenues. My computer has Windows XP Home with all the updates installed. I have a PrimeFilm 1800u scanner.

The scanner works fine with Cyberview X and using the twain driver within Photoshop Elements 2.0. After what seems to be a successful installation of the SilverFast demo, when I attempt to scan from within PS Elements using SilverFast AFL I receive a message that no scanner is found.Primefilm Pf 1800 Afl Drivers
